SNAP 101: What New Advocates Should Know

Tuesday, May 20, 2:00 p.m. Eastern (1:00 p.m. Central, 12:00 p.m. Mountain, 11:00 a.m. Pacific)

As budget reconciliation heats up in Congress, there is a lot of complicated information being shared rapidly. Each passing day, it seems like there's something new to learn. For new advocates, it can be hard to make sense of this.

In this webinar, panelists from FRAC and Empower Missouri will share the basics of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in a way that helps advocates understand the proposed cuts and their impacts. Join us as FRAC's SNAP Director, Salaam Bhatti, is joined by Amanda Berry from Empower Missouri to walk through the basics of SNAP.
