7/31 Webinar on USDA SNAP Rulemaking

Last week, USDA published yet another proposed rule that would be harmful for SNAP - this time by severely restricting the ability of states to use Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility. By the Administration’s own estimates, the change would result in 3.1 million individuals losing their SNAP benefits completely, take free school meals away from the children in those families, and punish people with even meager savings.
