Tell Your Senators: Cuts to SNAP Are Cuts to School Meals
Budget Reconciliation proposals that cut the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are currently in the Senate. Use the FRAC Action Network to reach out to your Senators and let them know the negative impact that cutting SNAP will have on the child nutrition programs. Partner Updates

• Register for the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference in San Antonio, July 13–15.  
• Apply for the Healthy Meals Incentives Recognition Awards through Action for Healthy Kids for School Food Authorities for school nutrition departments that have worked hard to improve the nutritional quality of their school meals. The deadline is June 30. 

Policy Updates

All States Planning to Operate Summer EBT in 2025 Have Received State Plan Approvals
Thirty-seven states, the District of Columbia, five Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs), and all five territories have committed to run the Summer EBT Program in 2025. As of now, all states, ITOs, and four territories have received approval for their Plan of Operation and Management for the program, leaving only the U.S. Virgin Islands without an approval.
