Creating a Participatory School Nutrition Program that Improves Student Health
September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, a month dedicated to advocating for improved child nutrition. Join us as we discuss how school meal programs can create opportunities for students to be more engaged with their health. The discussion will include the research on children’s health, the incorporation of school nutrition education and culinary training, and participatory menu development.
