America is facing a startling hunger crisis. In 2023, 13.8 million children lived in households that experienced food insecurity, up 3.2 percent from 2022.
One critical way of ensuring children are fed is through Healthy School Meals for All. Healthy School Meals for All provides all students access to school meals at no charge, helping them stay nourished, focused, energized, and ready to learn.
Right now, only eight states are offering free meals to all their students.
